Since I was a child I have always enjoyed drawing and painting. At college, Art was my special subject. After a busy period of my life when I rather neglected it, I resumed my interest about twenty years ago.
At the time, I painted mainly flowers and still life, in watercolours, occasionally branching out into other subjects some of them "spiritual", e.g. Buddha.
More recently, ideas have come to me for more imaginative subjects and in the last few years I have been inspired to do more abstracts, including some geometric designs. I love colour and particularly like how patterns fit together to make a harmonious whole.
I work in watercolours and acrylics, with the occasional collage in mixed materials.
